The cars visible from US 160 near Bayfield are personal restoration projects by a private party, who sometimes visits this Forum. They were "salvaged" from the D&S inventory some years ago, when that was actually possible.

One of the cars, the stock car I believe, is among the seven cars recently identified for purchase by the DRHS in Silverton. The other six are from the Ashby collection. Based on the Society's recent newsletter and website (and a prior thread by George Neiderauer) they are seeking grant funding.
