The Crown car was built for the New York World's Fair in the early 1960's. We do not know when and how the car made it the central coast of California, but my son rescued it from a yard before going to scrap. Overall the car is in fair shape with the addition of missing one truck and its metal roof covering. With some work, this car could be put back to work on a zoo railway or amusement park operation. Just hate to see it get scrapped out. Ted
