Casey and Earl,

Thanks for the explanation. There are a lot of small locomotives that have newer boilers and have worked out fine all these years.

The same is true for TSRR 300/28's boiler, which was built by a different company than the 316 and 1316 boilers.

I believe Austin Steam Train Association had a lot of work for SP786 contracted through a firm in -(edit)-.
