I would guess that virtually any bulk liquids needed in the area moved by tank car at one time or another. The Conoco tanks come to mind, and it seems to me there were others. I would guess gasoline almost certainly moved all over the ng., and possible things like diesel, heating oil, lube oil and kerosene, although some of that stuff might have moved in 55 gallon drums in boxcars. Most towns of any size had bulk petroleum distributors with a siding with a spot to unload tanks and a dock to unload boxcars. I would guess it was well into the 40's maybe 50's before most of that stuff moved to over the road tank trucks.
While not ng., one of my first jobs around 1957 was in a Chevron bulk plant, and we were still getting both tank cars and boxcars of product. While just a guess, perhaps similar traffic on the ng. ended a bit earlier because of the cost of translating anything that did not originate on the ng.
