Some Wild-Eyed Foamer wrote a song a few years ago about you 22-year-old narrow gauge/standard gauge steam fans.
SFAIK, it's been performed in public only twice - once in Chama, NM, by the songwriter accompanied by some brave guy
from Texas, and once in Rusk by the songwriter and
two brave guys from Texas. The tune on which it's based is a classic,
but - like many other worthwhile and not so worthwhile works of art - the song's lyrics have been banned from the airwaves
in Boston and elsewhere. See [
