I have articles on the wreck that the local newspaper published. Will transcribe them when I get a chance. The D&RGW built a ramp down to 320 and pulled it to the track with OZ. I have seen a picture of the 320 being pulled up this ramp, but the picture was in a newspaper and was not very good quality.
I had a long talk with a retired D&RGW engineer (he died a number of years ago), who was good friends with the crew of 320. He said that the Black Canon was the scariest part of the narrow gauge to him...snow slides, rocks, floods, etc.
I think the OZ was used a few other times, but the newspapers simply referred to a wrecker which could have meant Derrick OP or even another engine used to pull the wrecked engine with cables.
