First of all the bloody thing is finished. These doors were lovingly replaced by the late Paul Luning many years ago. The whole cab was rotton through and through. They are good as artifacts, and nothing else.
I don't remember what the markings were for. Probably nothing very important.
The rotton cab was from the 317 when the two engines were merged, at least that was the story that we were given by Cornie and Unka Bob. I'm sticking to it.
