You will find the cinders at several locations. At Hammil where there was a water stop and a required stop to cool the wheels and instpect the train. Another location is on the spur at Belleville where the water cars were set out: it appears the firemen took the opportunity to rake the fire while the brakemen were setting the handbrakes on the cars.
