Rick:
216 was inspected by the ICC at Durango 6/14/19 and 217 at Vance Jct. 6/18/19 with both noted as leased to RGS. Only engines so identified.
Jerry: As we know engines did move around - 216 could well have been in the Blue River area. A Davis view shows it on the rip track at Alamosa ca.1908. It seemed to have spent alot of time on the 4th Division and I believe is in one of Juke's 1908 photos and at least one of Lively's of that era.
Brian: I retrieved two musty Dolores registers that show 216 present 10/23/18 to 5/1/19 and 7/7/23 to 11/29/23. Running on trains 6 and 12.Dorman published a very distant view of 216 on the Silverton Br(that Andy Payne used to sell). Photo is of the right side and basically looks like 268 with 278's current tender - most likely had one 9-1/2" air pump.
