Richard (Dick) Kindig,
I met Dick on an 844 two day trip in 1967.
I had admired his photo's and was full of questions. Dick helped my photo's improve,
altho at times it was difficult to get an
answer, as he always felt folks today were
taking much better photo's than ever he did.
I was allowed several times to go through
his photo file and select photos for my files.
Dick, did not like surprise visits, but a phone call in advance almost always producted an invite
to come on over.
Dick was an inspector for the phone company.
As I understand he inspected connections on the
switchboard.
The last few years Dicks health has not been good. I don't think he gets out very much anymore.
I have not seen him in several years.
I am very proud to have gotten to know Dick
Kindig, and call him friend. keith
