Dave, the only one I know of is in the Dorman collection here [
www.cumbrestoltec.org]
It is in volume 14 - Cumbres to Toltec. Why a picture of Lava is in that section I don't know but there are a lot of pictures in the collection in the wrong volumes or that are clearly not the structure they are labeled as. The best I can tell this picture is correctly labeled. It is the first picture in Volume 14. It is just a small sample as you have to purchase a copy to see it full size. There was never anything much at lava worth photographing. That combined with its remote location is probably why there are not many pictures of anything there. If you search for pictures of Lava 98% of what you find are pictures of the tank and taken from the train.
Additional location information
Siding begins MP 290.69
Telephone booth MP 290.77 about 2/3 of the way through the curve
Station sign MP 290.79
Siding end MP 290.89
It may also be note worthy that the valuation maps indicate the siding is 1084ft bet when you add up the station markers it is only 1054ft. For reference the phone booth is about 1/3 of the way through the siding on the east end and on the south side if the tracks. I believe the current phone booth to be in the wrong location if it is where I think it is judging by the satellite views of Lava. It should be about 800ft or so to the west.
