Re: NNG Valley RR aka Essex Steam Train

Our seven years in Mass. were spent between Essex CT and Essex Junction VT. A few more comments about the (Connecticut) Valley Railroad:

(1) The supermarket chain local to where we lived regularly ran an ad on TV showing why they were so proud of being in New England. In addition to familiar sights in Boston and nature in Vermont, they showed this steam train.

(2) Everything on that train is truly vintage steam train era. If it weren't for the open car directly behind the tender, and perhaps people's clothing, you would have no way of knowing from those pictures that they were taken in 2013, not in 1950.

(3) Colors in the east truly are multiple colors. At the right time you can get an incredible array of yellow, oranges and red.
