My guess would be the original tank at Villa Grove on the then Orient Branch (later Valley Line) looking toward Poncha Pass. The mountains are in the haze, but the terrain is flat enough around the tank. Parlin had a steam pump house behind it and the bridge over Tomichi Creek would be just beyond the tank. It may still be there to this day buried in the weeds.
