Having been a member of the CRRM since before dirt was invented and a volunteer there for the last 6 years, I can say with fair confidence that all concerned will want the #20 to come straight home and break in on the museum's own track. I can't recall the CRRM ever allowing any of its equipment to operate off-site. Just a guess, but there may be insurance and liability reasons for that.
That policy, of course, does not include the ex-GLR equipment stored at the museum and occasionally ultilzed by the museum by arrangement with its owners. And GLR #15 was recently leased to the C&TS. That's the owners' perogative.
