Hi,
I saw part of the same episode.
If you add a few conditionals such as 844 has never been off the roster since 1944 and has the original owner (1944-2013), it would work (69 years).
If you consider the K-28s of the D&RGW (1923-1980), the time is 57 years. The K-28s were then sold to the D&SNG.
Raw data can be wiggled to prove anything you want
K-28s would be 1923-2013 (90 years) if you accept the D&SNG is the same as the D&RGW.
One question I have is when was this episode filmed?
