The following is the planned Colombian Tour Section.

Where were the washouts?

Sunday 29th September

Steam train from Bogotá to Gachancip

Travel along the line towards Zipaquirá as far as La Caro (34km) where we branch off towards Briceño (47km), Tocancipá (53km) and Gachancipá (58km). Return via the same route to La Sabana Station in Bogotá.

Monday 30th September

Steam train from Bogotá to Zipaquirá

The train will be hauled by a coal fired “Baldwin” 2-6-0 steam locomotive, operated by Tren Turistico de la Sabana. The company runs heritage steam trains for 53 kilometres northwards from Bogotá to Parque and Zipaquirá. Return to Bogotá station.
