Hi Bob,
Thanks for the kind words! It's been a very exciting project, and it's been an honor to be able to work on her and be part of such a talented crew.

I'll check with Mike Horner this afternoon, but I believe that the horizontal side members and the siding are both Doug Fir.

It's almost a little sad to see 1113 getting ready to depart the roundhouse, but we're moving Uintah #50 in there for our next project, and B-8 is in stall four and needs lots of work as well. So we've got plenty to do!
