But these are the products of robots with barely the computational power of a lizard brain.
Within the next 10 years a laptop computer (or tablet or whatever) will approach the computational power of a human brain. However, it may take longer to fully utilize this power.
The robot books will get fantastically better in a short period of time.
As will their performance of other tasks formerly the domain of humans.
Large segments of the population who are unable to adapt and leverage the power of these machines will have nothing to do. How will society react?
We are entering one of the most fantastic and dangerous times in human history...hopefully the robots will not be writing the last chapter!
