Re: Move to save the San Juan extension in 1968-1970.

It seems we need a Narrow Gauge 101 that outlines all this previously discussed and rehased information so that every few months we don't have to explain the last 44 years or so of the former D&RGW operations and subsequent happenings on the Alamosa west lines. The D&S storage box cars came from the New Mexico Dept. of Transportation yard located on U.S.550 between Aztec and Farmington where they had been used for storage less trucks. These are not the same cars Bernie purchased.These were acquired by Bradshaw during his ownership of the D&S. Two of them are in Silverton, several others are elsewhere, like Hermosa.
