For the new layout see This article on the Festipedia web site. Note that this was as planned in late 2011.

Since posting the above I have now found a better illustration. Follow This Link and then scroll down to 17 September 2012, where there are plans of the current work and future phases. There is a lot of other interesting stuff there as well. Work can only proceed in the winter, when no passenger trains are running.
