Hi,
In the first photo, the frog and guardrails without any sign of switch ties is interesting.
Concerning the second photo:
If I recall correctly, when I visited, there was a SG trolly only (very sharp radius) reverse loop that connected the two diverging routes. I thought it was hysterical that the SG rails were on different sides.
It was obvious that they had not though through what they were doing. The stubs (if dual gauged / 3-rail) could actually work with a 4-position throw - SG left, NG left. NG right, and SG right.
I think only SV used this type of turnout (point switch) with the SG jog further down the from the points to swap the SG back into position. I think we've discussed that in the past few months.
Tangent apology:
In the past year sometime, I argued with someone here that I'd seen D&RG type trucks on the EBT. In scanning these photos, the photos of the trucks were found. I was very much mistaken. Memory fails or gets confused at time.
