The original plan when the trolley museum first started in 1961 was for the standard gauge track to cross the street. For a variety of reasons that didn't happen, and the dual gauge section of the wye (the left-hand track in the photo) never got wire put up, either. In recent years, most of the standard gauge rail on the wye has been removed. The track at the trolley loading platform was rebuilt a year or so ago and many of the switch timbers were replaced. I believe the track with the frog remains in place so that trolleys waiting at the platform are visible from the EBT station across the street.
