Hi,

Thanks for all the info.

I have 4 PRR hand lanterns with "Dressel" and the PRR Keystone. I would not doubt some shop on the PRR would have some home made lanterns. PRR would build its own locomotives and other strange items, I'd not be surprised to find out they manufactured their own.

My Uncle said that the lantern had a reflector on the back. Not proof but he was born in the late 1920's and other non-RR lanterns might have fuzzed his memory.

Here is the bottom of the lantern. There is a round hole that looks like it might be an air vent.
