help needed ID'ing a kerosene lantern

January 20, 2013 06:48PM
Hi,

I have two old lanterns that my uncle gave me. He said he got them off the PRR and that they were caboose lanterns.

There was a reflector that attached to the slot in the bracket. I assume there was a bracket that held the lamp to the wall.

There does not seem to be any marks such as Dressel or PRR on the lantern.

Can anyone ID the maker of this lantern?

How was it mounted?

I've looked for reflectors but nothing looks like it would fit this model.

Any help would be 'preshadeit'. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Thanks.
