I was under the impression that Embudo had been declared a National(?) historical landmark? Now that doesn't mean it will be preserved. Been past there several times this year and noticed vehicles driving on the old grade part way up Barranca Hill to an area below the grade where there are several other houses. Does anyone know if this road, on the old grade, is public? I didn't have time to stop and check it out. Embudo station was again for sale when I drove by in November. No one can make a go of it as a restaurant/bar. Anyone with money to burn??
