Yes Chris, that is the car. Below is another picture of it taken a few years ago. It was originally D&RGW high side gondola #1110. It was later converted to a "pipe gon". My notes say the Sumpter Valley purchased it and three other cut down gons from Durango in 1972. That came from the late Ron Brinton but Jim can confirm if the year is right.
The Sumpter Valley RR rebuilt the #1110 and D&RGW high side #1643 into passenger cars and put them in service in 1976 with the numbers #1101 and #1102.
Back in 2004, the #1101 and #1102 where repainted and given back their original D&RGW car numbers because we felt that at some time in the future, someone might care about what ever happened to the #1101 or the #1643 and we didn't want their history lost to time.
A year later, the #1643 was sold to the new Georgetown Loop and the #1110 continued in service on the SVRR to this day.
SVRR/D&RGW #1110
SVRR #1102 / D&RGW #1643 The #1101 looked the same as this car for over 30 years except for the loading platform and steps.
