I did that on our 152 Charter in 1988. I had it set up
that those requesting cab ride time, would be pencilled in
a slot between runby locations. We missed one guy cause we
decided to skip a shady spot, so I had to give up my slot. I had
already ridden 152(L&N) once before so better to keep the patrons happy.

In 1993 when we did a C&TS charter we were not allowed to have cab riders, and in fact I was refused a ride as the sponsor!!!

Yep I did one of these in 2003, and actually won two cab rides with
the 6 tickets for $5.00 deal, but only did the one. I chose the one right after lunch cause it was high sun, and bad time to be on the ground for runbys, so skipping one was no big deal. Too bad I did not do the next day, as some guys were actually running the 6325!!!

Most memorable cab rides were overseas in regular service, or here in the US...70 mph in 8444, 3985 through Hermosa Tunnel, 2765(really 765),
and 1522 at dusk. Last cab ride was the only one I ever paid for in the U.S....L&N152 for $50.00 (10 mile one way run), and it is not running at all since 2011.

Would like to ride up Cumbres Pass on the second engine of a doubleheader, but not willing to pay the big bucks they asked last year.
