I remember hearing someone say they thought the best person to buy a used car from was an auto mechanic. Having worked in a prior life as an auto mechanic I can say this is not necessarily true, as many auto mechanics have the above mentioned skill also, just maintaining the parts critical to safe operation while letting the rest go.....
