Yes I agree, the locomotive is up in the clouds, it would be scary just to climb into the cab much less to run it around. Just the motion of the locomotive rolling and bouncing around on the track i feel would allow the locomotive to just roll off or jump off the lower trucks. Steam locomotives bounce around and hop and skip and I just don't see how this would ever work. How would the locomotive ride through a tight switch or curve, how does the device allow for lateral motion and curve's???
The patent determine's that this would allow for higher speeds, but I can't see that happening. This device with a locomotive on it would be scary just standing still.
Interesting.. you know I would love to see a good modeler make a model of this device with a locomotive just to see it on a section of HO track or something, that would be fun????
