I know you really like green and all, and I'm not sure how serious you are, but the above statement is not correct. The Holman locomotive pictured was built with a planished iron boiler jacket that would have been medium-dark grey. That was the norm for its era. Green-painted boilers didn't appear until the 20th century, and were never very common besides.
The rest of the Holman locomotive was painted in a custom royal blue paintjob with extensive striping. It was the 1890's equivalent of circus colors since its job was to attract attention. I don't think this locomotive had any purpose to its existence beyond scamming unwary investors out of their money.
