Yeh I think you are correct about the Hwy being just off the map to the right. Yes the rr crossed the valley at a slight angle and runs along the S.side, but starts climbing as soon as it reaches the S.side. A view from Google earth might help orient yourself as the rr is overlaid by the county road on the way into town from the East for reference and the raised grades are probably visible heading West across the meadow.
