For this point in time, Fall 1940, I am assuming the 4th Division Timetable in effect is # 121 which would have eliminated the Thursday Silverton mixed. Does anyone have a source for a copy of TT #121 to dovetail with Jimmy’s reports?
Alamosa Division timetable #121 and Supplement “C” to timetable #121 were in effect during the current posting period.
As Jim McKee noted Timetable # 121 took effect June 11, 1939, and Supplement “C” took effect June 16, 1490.
Timetable #121 listed Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday operations on the Silverton branch.
Supplement “C” pertained to Sub-Divisions 11, 11-B and 12 and superseded timetable #121 and previous supplements as pertains to those Sub-Divisions.
The Silverton branch was Sub-Division 12-B.
Only trains No. 115, No. 116, No. 425 and No. 426 were affected by Supplement “C”.
I have not seen a copy of Supplement “A” or Supplement “B”. However, I would say they did not affect the Silverton branch as the train sheets indicate only timetable #121 and Supplement “C” as being effect.
Perhaps a bulletin was issued that provided for the elimination of Thursday runs on the Silverton branch. At this point I do not have documentation at hand that would provide an answer.
