At the time (1975) I made a Xerox of the photo and copied the text in the margins. The copy is of embarasingly poor quality by todays standards and my efforts to make a better by scanning it into a computer have been unsucessful.
The text accompanying the photo reads:
"Foley Brothers loading flatcars at Minnesota Transfer(,) Minn. 1905"
photo shows 2 small tank engines with sloped cylinders and straight smokestacks. in the foreground several flatcars are being loaded by a small steam shovel. Two round roofed boxcars are on an adjacent track. The track is very narrow, probably 24" gauge, certainly less than 36" gauge. There is a hill in the background with a fence and a large house, probably painted white or a similar light color.
