I received a back channel that suggested that RHS might be for Ralph Springett who was the water service foreman out of Durango. He may have used this car before the RPO in the final years. I found him in the 1940 census and he is listed as a pipe fitter for the D&RG Railroad. I also found him in the SSN index as passing away in 1975 with his SSN issued through the railroad board. The "H" might be Hiram.
