Now is the time to make a contribution to your favorite museum or RR group in support of their efforts to purchase this collection. Not only is there rolling stock available but 3.5 miles of track + 19 swithces, the old Alamosa turntable (albeit shortened), plus various buildings and structures.
While much of the equipment is in pretty poor condition, it would be a shame to see it just scrapped. Spread the word, time to put our money where our mouths are if you want to see this stuff preserved. A steam whistle blast salute to those who have already contributed to the cause!
