I'm with you on that one. First one I ever had was 1971 in Chama. Four of us were there to railfan, and camped at old Kelly's Campground. One night we sprung for a motel at the Old Y Motel. Our buddies wanted Mexican, and I was not used to it. They bought some beer also and it was Coors which was kinda warm....best beer I had ever had and it helped kill that hot taco stuff or whatever we had. Drank Coors whenever possible after that, but it was not until several years later it came east.
To me Colorado and NM are "Coors Country", and STEAM country!!! The two go together well I think. I don't drink much of anything these days.
