Couldn't see the detail from the camera's vantage point, but it
appears they spent some time putting the driving boxes on the bare axles prior to lowering the frame/boiler onto the driver wheelsets.

It appears they still will have to align the crankpins (probably that already has been done by this time), before fitting the siderods.

That process or how it was/is done is still of interest to me.
