Sorry, being bullying and insulting to people for making what they thought was a helpful suggestion is simply not a very good way to get them to do what you want. I'll bet your old grandmama said at some point, "You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." It may sound stupid, quaint and corny, but it is just as true with people.
Feel free to make excuses his bad manners all you wish, meanwhile don't expect exeryone else to accept it.
