We could only stay a couple hours...we were on our way home from picking up a new tarp for our canopy. -- I'm just glad that the rumors that the feds were gonna show up to cancel the party on Saturday mornin turned out not to be true.
I left my biz card with a couple of your members, I offered to put out some of your club's literature at the various toy train and machinery shows (all they hafta do is send it to me).
Right now I'm trying to talk Beth into a side trip to Flint while we're in Detroit (to see the Henry Ford Museum, and the Detroit Zoo) at the end of June. (which is already a side trip between western Ohio shows--we're scheduled for Mad River S&G in Urbana, and National Threshers Reunion in Wauseon.)... BUT she has this funny notion that one train ride a year is plenty.
Since they have no histerical significance, I can't help but wonder if Mr. K could sell one of those dismals for enough money to get some more ties and ballast?
