"Final Years" Supplemental Photo Info

In another thread (Cumbres turns) there was some discussion about posting information pertaining to photographs in the publication “Rio Grande Narrow Gauge - The Final Years, Alamosa to Chama”. That publication is by Joseph P. Hereford, Jr. and Ernest W. Robart. Publication date not shown.

I offered to post information that would include names of crew members. At this point I can provide names for only engineers and conductors. Perhaps Earl might be able to provide other names.

Now for the sad part. No dispatcher sheet information available for the year 1968.

Many years ago I attempted to gain access to dispatcher sheet information for the last years of D&RGW narrow gauge operation, including the Silverton branch through 1980. However, no information was available for operations subsequent to December 31, 1967.
