Russo,
That was the VW bus with the Deadhead sticker on it?
True story: A guy by the name of Izzy or Iggy built a copy of Goose 2. It has an early Chrysler front end and a fairly accurate box body. It was a little larger than the original 2. It had rubber tires and looked "close"to #2. It was outfitted as an RV and was a functional camper. I first saw this thing heading south towards Broomfield on Colo. 287. Pulling up to it's rear that displayed a large No.2 on it, I was dumbfounded. It was doing 55 MPH. Not being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance I found this apparition unbelievable.
Later that year Bob Richardson let Izzy park the thing behind the Museum building for several months. Close inspection revealed the copy looked like something the Clampetts on Beverly Hillbillies would drive. Last I heard of it, it was up on the side of the mountain near Georgetown.
Dirk Ramsey, do you remember that?
