And here I thought I cornered the market on Goose 8 (my silver S-10.) I still have the Colorado license plate GOOSE8 on the wall of my barn. Out here in North Carolina we get one extra letter so it now reads GOOSE 8. And I know the Dale Jr. fans probably wonder about what I want to do with their driver... I should have gone with MOTOR 8 but then who knows what kinds of requests I'd be getting then.
Bill Gould gave up the Colorado GOOSE8 plate the same time I got my truck. Before that I had GOOSE9, a Gran Torino. So I always owned geese! (Now I own ducks too but that's because my wife wanted them in addition to chickens.) I guess the plates are once again available if no one snatched them up... Anyone?
Yesterday I had to replace the battery in my truck and could not get the electrical connection for the air horns to work with the new battery... I'll mess with that this weekend, altering the battery if I need to.
Anyway, it's fun to see how many people have their own version of a goose out there.
