That was my point, exactly. By all means, get out there and make something happen. But the thread title about armchairing it sounds like just one more pie-eyed lollipop chaser.
Want to save steam railroads? ... go get a degree, start a wing-ding business, make freight cars full of cash, and fund these projects.
Armchairing others to get it done is just annoying.
The industry needs more doers and less yackers.
And to avoid this being taken as a personal assault, we all make choices and if the shoe fits, wear it. My hat is off to all the hardworking schleppers out there who make a difference. The talkers ? Pshaw !
