'37-'38: A whole lot of engines were seeing their last usage around this time, the modernized pass. trains were all shiny & new and the Santa Fe branch was about to start it's last slide in business(hwy 285 upgraded 1938-39).
1942: bye-bye to 70% of K-28's & 458/459 off to Mexico. Start of WWII traffic.
IIRC somebody other than Jimmy (Earl?) posted detailed info about some year(s) in the early to mid 60's a few years back.
Jimmy has posted for 1935, 1939, 1944-45 and 195?
hang on a minute, archive search...
OKaaay. Can't find the posts from the '50s but I do recall them, guess I may have to try again later!
also some short (4-5 week) runs from 1941 & 1937.
And lets not forget the threads posting the Cumbres Train Registers, some of which, IIRC, Jimmy added details from the dispachers sheets to.
Those include(parts of) the years 1931, 1932, 1933, 1936 & 1937 & others I don't have notes on...
hank, doomed to troll the archives some more soon
