And you had to walk 10 miles to school through three feet of snow and it was uphill both ways.....
After laying out on the ground year round trying repair stuff at the CRRM, I remember when the roundhouse was built and connected to the turntable. We were inside working on 346 in our shirt sleeves in January. I thought i had died and gone to heaven. We paid our dues. The roundhouse was connected to the turntable in 2001 enabling the volunteers to bring the equipment inside.
We even have our own bathroom with hot and cold running water.
