Re: Green Boiler Jackets - what I was told

Both "Duco" and "Dulux" are paint lines manufactured by DuPont. Doncha remember "Duco" model airplane cement? I get high just thinking about that odor! Anyway, I believe Duco was an industrial-grade exterior paint, while I know Dulux was an automotive-grade finish. I don't know if Duco is still available, but Dulux is. Dulux offers a tough, high gloss finish. I've used it on passenger cars and locomotives. It is not as good as Centari and nowhere near Imron, but it is much easier to apply. It's not acrylic so does not require any nasty reducers or much in the way of environmental protection, breathing apparatus, etc. I sort of recall hearing recently that the Dulux line has been cut down to just a few colors as it is being phased out.
