Since there is so much room to move around it really doesn't matter. From Chama Eastward you really want teh right side of the car because of Windy Point, and the Toltec Gorge. Westward you want the left side. But those are only two points on the whole line and the best spots to be are in the open gon, or the end platforms.
If you want the "really really" best seat you get a ticket for the parlour car and use the end platform OR you charter a caboose and sit in the cupola and also the end platform. , OR... combine the above!! <img class=" />
