I'm a real fan of your Colorado railroads, the D&S being my favorite. And I've really enjoyed riding on your own Ft. Collins Municipal Railway Birney #21. When she starts the new season in May, take a ride down Mountain Avenue for me!
I know what you mean by it always being the BN and not BNSF. I'm even ancient enough to remember when we had the separate CB&Q and Great Northern (with the mountain goat).
Yes, #844 is always shiny, looking like she just came from the builder's shop (which, in the sense of the loving maintenance she gets in Cheyenne, is really the case).
