Apparently the guy doing the watching had very good luck. IIRC, he got blown out the door and into a snowbank.

Just as a side bar, there are those (not me) with Conspiracy Theories about the explosion and/or the non-repair of RGS 02. ISTR some of them were aired on this forum a couple of years back.

At any rate, whatever happened that night pretty much doomed the RGS. Pity they couldn't have gotten ON back from Alaska...
