There is an old trappers fort in Colorado called Fort Lupton. The original fort is long gone, but there is an historical society reconstructing it. They hold a rendezvous every year as a fund raiser for the project. I am involved in a living history organization called The Renaissance Scots Living History Association. We've been a major attraction at the rendez for several years now. There is a lady who shows up every year and sings campfire songs. She has for the last three years gone out of her way to find me and sing that song for me! Out of our entire group, she singles me out!
